Marvel Studio’s 20th film, Captain Marvel is set to hit the theatres this weekend and we are super-excited about it. Here are 5 reason why we think you should watch this film.
1) Marvel’s first female superhero film: Marvel fans have been asking for a female superhero film since a ling time. Captain Marvel is one of the strongest Marvel characters in the comics. With every film, Marvel is getting better and better. With their last film, the bar is set very high for the MCU. There is a strong reason why this film is put between Infinity War and Endgame.
2) Young Nick Fury & Coulson: A younger version of Nick Fury and ‘Agent’ Coulson will be shown in the film. Nick Fury had said “The last time I trusted someone, I lost an eye”. This film will explain why he lost his eye. We all know that Coulson is not dead. A backstory of Shield is something that we can expect from this film.
3) Ronan the accuser: The antagonist of Guardians of the Galaxy will make an appearance in the film. He will be playing a “vital” role in the film. After his first appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy, his appearance has been teased for Captain Marvel but no images of him has been shown in the promos. Fans can expect something different in the film.
4) Skrulls: Skrulls play an important role in the comics. Comic-book readers knew exactly what the film was going to offer when they found out that ‘skrulls’ will be appearing in the film. In the future MCU films, there are high chances of skrulls making an appearance. This film will explain their origin.
5) Endgame connection: The film is directly linked with Avengers Endgame. We all know that Karol Danvers aka Captain Marvel will be appearing in Avengers Endgame. At the end of Infinity War, we got a little tease of Captain Marvel. Will we be getting a little tease of Endgame at the end of this film? We just cannot wait to find out!
